The Race Legends is a Swedish corporation that arranges events with motorsport legends. The first race takes place 13-15 August, 2010, at the legendary racetrack Anderstorp Raceway in Sweden, which hosted several Grand Prix races during the 70’s.

The Race Legends – From idea to reality:

The story behind this is not so long but very interesting. From day one when three people sat and thought about different kinds of business ideas, it came up to organize a mega event with Formula 1 drivers at Sweden’s only racetrack which had a Formula 1 history, Anderstorp Raceway..

A fourth person was initiated in the project and the proposals where put forward for how the whole thing would be formed. After numerous meetings and thoughts the concept was clear and the company The Race Legends was formed.

The idea was quite simple, a event was to be made and it should entertain audiences of all ages. Charity was an important element and that there were a variety of entertainment on and beside the track.

Drivers began to be contacted, entertainment options were examined and the music industry was contacted for good material. Anderstorp Raceway became involved and also the Anderstorp Racing Club to ensure that the contest is carried out by professional staff.

Furthermore companies was involved and it was an incredibly secretive about everything that was about to be done. Now, after almost a year and a half of work, The Race Legends presents their event and will update with news and activities about the race weekend for the curious reader.

During this spring, drivers, entertainment and shows will be presented regularly and in August, a packed schedule will be presented to fill Anderstorp Raceway with people from all over Europe and of all ages during a whole weekend with glamor and excitement.
